Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Review

If Rocky Patel were a baseball player I’d assume most people would be up in arms claiming that he is on steroids. He continuously hits one grand slam after another and the Vintage 1990 is just one more digit added to his All-Star home run list.

I am of the belief that you really cannot go wrong with a Rocky Patel cigar. Sure there’s a stick or two that are less than desirable but for the most part Rocky makes some of the best cigars that I have had the pleasure of smoking. Most of Rocky’s cigars are elegant in every aspect of the words meaning. They look great, smell great and of course they also have an incredible taste.

Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Review

Every now and then you run across a cigar that is so good it ends up putting an extra swagger into your step. A flavorful beast that raises the bar on of what a medium-bodied stick is supposed to taste like.

The Vintage 1992 Sixty, to the best of my fading memory, was the first Rocky Patel cigar that I crossed paths with. At first glance an intimidating cigar that in all actuality ended up being a surprising smooth smoke. I owe a lot to this stick; after all it did introduce me to one of my favorite brands. However, no matter how much I enjoy some of Rocky’s other tasty delights the Vintage 1992 is still one of my favorite sticks.

Vibe Corojo Review

The changing flavors of the Vibe Corojo reminded me of a crazy girlfriend from my distant past. It was a roller coaster ride of a relationship where her moods, like the flavors in this cigar, fluctuated at the drop of a hat. However unlike that girlfriend I really liked this cigar and suspect you will too if given the chance.

Ah there’s an old saying that nobody likes to drink alone, well in some aspects you can say the same about smoking cigars.

Rocky Patel Edge Lite Review

If individual cigars could be translated into music the Rocky Patel Edge Lite would be a country western song for me. The cigar didn’t cause my dog to die or even my wife to storm off with the keys to the palace but it did unfortunately leave me with a broken heart.

I really wanted to love this cigar, and for good reasons which I will get to in a minute, but unfortunately my expectations were set to a level that this cigar was unable to achieve. The cigar was not horrible by any stretch of the imagination, its only crime was that it just wasn’t that great either.
